26 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பின்பு இத்தாலியின் தலைநகரான ரோம் கடும் பனிபொழிவை சந்தித்துள்ளது.
ரோம் நகர் சுற்றுலா பயணிகள் வரும் முக்கிய தளமாக காணப்படுகின்றது.
இங்கு காணப்படும் பண்டைய கட்டிடமான கொலேசீயம்,வத்திக்கான்  பனிபொழிவால் வெள்ளை வர்ணம் தீட்டியதை போல காட்சியளிக்கின்றது.
